A new digital banking service integrating customers’ business and personal finance needs

By integrating business banking and personal banking on a single digital platform, a Global Tier 1 Retail Bank gave business banking customers more clarity into their finances, helping them save time and get ahead with easy access to funding, advice and opportunities.

My journey: 3 months to deliver the Mobile app

  • successfully delivering the mobile app within 3 months, with plans to roll out to 8 key markets over following year

  • coordinating +20 resources (internal, client and 3rd party agencies) using agile methodologies across multiple time zones

  • defining and managing project documentation (i.e. project plan, status report, responsibility assignment matrix, change request, traceability matrix, investment feasibility study, resource plan)

  • helping the bank’s global marketing team regarding internal & external communications to consumers

  • conducting an impact assessment and contingency plan to minimise risks alongside legal & compliance teams

Transforming customer experience and IT in logistics using agile

As part of its turnaround and transformation strategy, a global express delivery giant was overhauling its IT capability to reduce complexity and cost, changing the way 60+ sites operate from sales through to operations and support with new end-to-end processes & cloud-based IT applications.

Engagement responsibilities included:

  • leading agile roll-out within data governance workstream,,

    responsible to facilitate the correct usage of data throughout the company

  • implementing scrum framework (i.e. scrum board, scrum team roles and scope, release planning, product backlog, sprint backlog, daily, burndown chart, acceptance criteria)

  • modelling new end-to-end data governance processes (i.e. manage principles, policies, global data management network, lifecycle for master data & reference data, executive data council, data team programme office)

A new Social Media Management platform and operating model

An iconic sports retailer needed to transform its social media operations to get them under control, in response to increasing complexity between teams, brands, markets, and rapidly growing social media reach.

The client asked for a new social media management solution, in order to centralise and secure their operations. Together with 2 other consultants, we defined the requirements through user stories, conducted workshops sessions & stakeholder interviews, and assessed best in class social media management tools.

In only 8 weeks, we…

  • mapped +70 user stories using a scoring model for prioritisation

  • interviewed +50 stakeholders across multiple BUs and markets

  • defined new social media operating model, including roles, organisational structure, and operating processes

  • assessed products fit across planning, publishing, community management, asset management and reporting capabilities

Recommendation was approved and validated for PoC.
